Break the loop,
lighten your life
Providing evidence-based support that is about more than just talking. My approach is proactive and solution focused, aiming for lasting and meaningful change. I support people living anywhere in the UK via online video sessions.

I have practiced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) since 2019. Over the past three years, I have specialised in Rumination-Focused CBT which targets patterns of overthinking. I feel passionate about helping overthinkers find peace of mind, having recognised this is a key problem for many people. If you resonate with the problems described below, get in touch to arrange a free consultation.
Depression
When feeling low, it is common for our minds to focus on the negative.
Replaying your mistakes and beating yourself up
Struggling to switch off your mind during quiet moments
Feeling exhausted, headaches and poor concentration
Anxiety
Anxiety often makes us obsess over worst case scenarios without ever feeling more prepared. I have experience working with:
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Panic Disorder & Agoraphobia
Health Anxiety
Phobias & Social Anxiety
Trauma & PTSD
Chronic overthinking is a coping strategy that many people develop in response to trauma.
Dwelling on the past, overanalysing every detail
Feeling stuck and unable to move forwards in life
Intense fear or distress as if the past is happening right now
Therapy that addresses patterns of overthinking is effective because this is a process which is seen in (and can contribute to) lots of different mental health struggles.First we work together to identify the reason why your mind is working on overdrive. Often we start to believe that we are our struggles - "I'm a worrier" or "I'm weak". These are not character flaws, but learned survival responses we develop to protect us when facing challenges in life. If these responses no longer serve us, therapy is an opportunity to experiment with a new approach to build the life you want. You can learn to shift from endless "Why..?" and "What if..?" questions, to proactive concrete styles of thinking. You can learn methods to be more kind and self-motivating which can improve self-esteem. You can start channelling that scattered mind to be more present and focused.

I'm a strong believer that everyone has the potential to change at any stage of life. We have a remarkable ability to rewire our brains and I feel privileged to be a part of this amazing process.I am committed to creating a safe space for people of all backgrounds. We will work collaboratively as a team, both taking an active role in sessions (I am not the passive therapist cliché you might see in films). I take a person-centred approach to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This means your needs and preferences are always at the centre of our work, instead of a one-size-fits-all approach.Outside of therapy, you can find me spending time in nature with my dog Mabel. I love capturing these moments and you will see a few of my favourite photos on this website.
